If
you have recently bought a Phil and Teds pushchair or are considering
doing so for a newborn then the perfect accompaniment is a Phil and Teds Cocoon.
The Cocoon can be purchased for most prams in the Phil and teds range
and is available in enough colours to suit everyone’s taste
What
is a Phil and Teds Cocoon
In a nutshell it is like a small carry cot which fits into your Phil
and Teds pram, allowing your baby to be placed in and taken out of the
pram without having to be woken.
The Phil and Teds Cocoon
consist of softly padded cover and hood, but unlike a standard footmuff
or sleeping bag it has hard sides or back (dependant upon the type)
making it nicely secure. It has long handles making it easy to carry
and is generally suitable for a baby up to about 4 months old
If your baby is feeling cold then you can release the top cover so it
will be higher up on your baby and the top can be drawn in via a toggle
to make it even snugger around the head. It your baby is getting to
warm then a zip allows the cover to be peeled back
To place in the pushchair is simply a matter of ensuring that the seat
is in the fully reclined position and simply place the cocoon in feet
first. To fasten the cocoon into the pushchair there are two clips on
the side which can be fastened to the pushchairs safety harness, making
it secure and safe for your baby.
If you are looking to buy a Phil and Teds pram for a newborn then a Phil and Teds Cocoon
certainly offers a very practical piece of equipment for those early
months and provids a great alternative to blankets
