The
Inglesina
Otutto is an innovative travel system which embraces
comfort, elegance and safety. It is the Inglesena starter kit par
excellence and is suitable from birth up until the child is approx 3
years of age. The Ottuto is available in two types the Otutto Pram
which consists of the chassis, carrycot, pushchair seat and car seat
together with its base or the Otutto Combo, which is the same without
the carrycot. The Inglesina Otutto basically offers everything you
could need to take any child from birth through to when they are 3
years of age.
The chassis has a one action umbrella folding system ensuring that it
can be closed efficiently and compactly. The weight is reasonable at
7.4kg and is constructed of an aluminium frame and steering is a joy as
it can be achieved with the use of only one hand. The cassis comes in a
choice of two colours, either white or graphite, which is certainly
different to a lot of strollers on the market.
The Inglesina Otutto
Pram comes with the carry cot included. The carry cot is attached to
the chassis via an Easy Clip locking system. For the babies comfort the
backrest can be adjusted into several positions and the small air flow
holes provide natural air circulation to prevent overheating. It weighs
5.2 kg and has collapsible handles to make carrying easier together
with a sunshade that can also be used together with the seat unit.
The seat unit itself has a 4 position reclining backrest and an
independently adjustable footrest to ensure its occupant is as comfy as
possible. Like the Carrycot, it is attached via the Easy Clip locking
system and for extra safety it is equipped with a 5-point harness
anchor system. The seat can be fitted either facing you or away so your
baby gets to see the world go by.
You get a number of accessories with Inglesina Otutto,
including a basket, hood, footmuff, raincover and a co-ordinated
changing bag if you take the Pram option
What is good about the Inglesina
Otutto
• Unlike other travel systems
the seat unit does not have to be removed when folding the stroller
• It folds up very compactly
• The carrycot offers a number
of recline positions
• The chassis colour is
something a bit different and choosing the white will certainly make
you stand out from the crowd
• The inclusion of the base with
the car seat, which is not always the case with other travel systems
And what could be better
• It is a little on the
expensive side, prices will vary but you are looking at the Combo
costing around £499 and the Pram £699.
Overall
Impression
The Inglesina Otutto
is a very stylish looking travel system which has an umbrella fold
chassis allowing it to be efficiently and compactly folded. It comes
packed with features none more so than the ability to have different
recline positions with the carry cot as well as facing the seat
rearward or forward. It is quite expensive compared to some other
travel systems, but if you get the white chassis in particular you are
sure to stand out from the crowd.
