The
Icoo
Targo is an award winning pushchair which sets a new
standard for both its design and functionality. As it comes complete
with a separate bassinet it is suitable from birth up until the child
is approximately 3 years of age and
weighs 22lbs (10kg).
One of the main features which makes the Icoo Targo stand out
is the unique height elevation which gives the parent the ability to
alter the level at which they have the seat/carrycot set. This offers a
couple of great advantages, firstly when out and about there is no need
to find a separate high chair as the eat can be altered to table height
and secondly when the carrycot is fastened on, you get better access to
the
shopping basket in the base of the stroller.
The second stand out feature of the Icoo Targo is its
great handling, smooth ride and the fact that it takes very little
effort to push the stroller which no doubt answers many of the
questions a prospective buyer may have. The smooth ride is provided by
four ball bearing encased wheels, 2 air filled wheels at the rear and 2
ultra smooth front wheels.
As well as these stand out features, other more standard features
haven’t been forgotten. The comfort levels on the Icoo Targo are good
as a result of the ergonomically designed, well padded seat and the
removable and retractable canopy for sun protection. The seat itself
can be reclined for extra comfort and the leg rest adjusted to allow
the seat to grow with your child.
For safety there is the standard 5 point harness

comes with a number of standard accessories including
universal car seat adaptors, a removable bumper bar and a built in
bunting bag
What is good about the Icoo
Targo

- It is rather bulky when folded
- The canopy could have been bigger
Overall
Impression
The Icoo Targo
is a stroller which offers some unique features as well as a very
smooth ride. However, it isn’t the cheapest stroller you will
find on the market so the decision is whether these extra features are
worth the money, the ability to move the seat up and down the chassis
is great but how often are you actually going to use this. Whilst its
easy to push and does offer a smooth ride, there are other similar
pushchairs which do the same and are also lighter and less bulky.
Overall though, a good well thought out stroller which does try to
offer something a bit different.
