Whether
you are having twins or your second child, the iCandy Pear offers
you the ultimate in flexibility. With the addition of the iCandy pip
converter the Pear can be changed from a single pram into a unique
multi mode tandem travel system offering over 20 practical combinations.
It is suitable from birth, provided you have either the appropriate
carrycot or a car seat such as the Maxi
Cosi Cabriofix (sold
separately) and the different combinations mean that the iCandy Pear is
suitable for newborn twins, an older child and a new born or two older
children upto the age of 3 years. If you are considering using a car
seat you will need to purchase the special adaptors to connect the car
seat securely to the chassis
The iCandy Pear
isn’t the lightest pushchair you will find on the market
weighing 10.3kgs including the wheels and shopping basket, however the
wheels are larger than on other models to allow for the extra weight
and stability of carrying two children and the all round suspension
makes for a more comfortable ride.
The pushchair folds to a compact size to make storage easier and the
seats fully recline, independently of each other and can be either
rearward or forward facing. To make pushing that bit more pleasurable
there is an adjustable soft touch comfy grip handle with a choice of 7
different positions

Overall
Impression
The iCandy Pear
offers a parent the flexibility of having a pushchair which can offer
every combination you can think of, its good quality, it looks good and
provides a smooth sturdy ride. However, there are some negatives in
that it together with the various accessories means it
doesn’t come cheap but if your using it as a double pushchair
then you should consider, even with the extra bits does it still work
out cheaper than a double buggy?
