The
Bugaboo Bee has been one of the most stylish and user friendly
pushchairs on the market and so Bugaboo now bring you the updated
version in the form of the Bugaboo
Bee Plus stroller which has a number of innovative
features and enhancements.
The first of these new features on the Bugaboo Bee Plus stroller
involves the seat which now has an extendable seat base. The height of
the backrest, sun canopy and 5 point harness can also be adjusted
simultaneously in 4 positions adding 8 extra cm's. So as you child
grows the pushchair can be altered to grow with them.
The pushchairs frame is still small and lightweight (8.5kg) but is
slightly wider than its predecessor; even so it’s still very
manoeuvrable. This pushchair’s one-piece foldable design is a
joy
and the seat folds flat and compact, making storage and transportation
all that more easy as the pushchair fits nicely into most car
boots.
The seat can be quickly moved from forward facing to rear facing as a
result of the new circular joint reverse system and for extra safety
the seat comes with a 5 point harness.
The Bugaboo Bee Plus
stroller
can also be customised with different coloured sun canopies available
to purchase separately, allowing you to add a bit of a personnel touch
What is good about the Bugaboo
Bee Plus Stroller
• Its lightweight design and
manoeuvrability
• The ease of which it can be
folded down and its compactness for storage
• The ability of the pushchair
to grow with your child
And what could be better
• The price, like most Bugaboo
pushchairs it isn’t cheap costing around $600+
(£425+)
• The fact that there was no
carrycot included to allow a new born to lie flat
Overall
Impression
This is a great pushchair and its shame that the price may put some
people off. It has everything you could want from a pushchair,
lightweight, easy to manoeuvre and fold away and the ability to
‘grow with your child’. It could have included a
carrycot,
but that shouldn’t detract from how good this pushchair
actually
is.
