The
Recaro
Young Style is a group 2 car seat which features an extra
large head and side support. It weighs just under 10lbs and is suitable
for a child from 3 to 12 years if the base is used as a booster
In relation to most other car booster seats, the Recaro Young Style
has very large head and side wings which contain energy absorbing foam
for optimal protection as a result of side impact. As well as for an
actual impact they also provide extra support when taking a
particularly hard corner.
For the child’s comfort the seat is well padded and the back
and head rest can be adjusted for optimal fit for both comfort and
safety. The parent isn’t forgotten either, the seat includes
a carry handle to make transportation that bit easier.
The Recaro Young Style
is fitted into the car by using its own 3 point seat belt, so switching
it from car to car isn’t a problem. It comes with a high
quality Microfiber or Bellini cover which can be removed and is machine
washable at 30°C.

Impression
The Recaro Young Style
is a good group 2 booster seat which provides good comfort and safety
features. We particularly like the extra large side wings and the head
protection as this gives you a sense that the child will be afforded
more protection in the unfortunate event of any side impact. Even
though this is a good car seat within the same sort of price range
there are a number of other popular seats available so it is well worth
taking your time to look at all the options before deciding.
