The
Maxi
Cosi Tobi
car seat is suitable for children aged from approx 9 months to 4 years
(9-18kg) and weighs 8.5kg. It comes with an innovative harness system
that makes this car seat particularly easy to use as it springs open
and stays in that position whilst you place your child into the seat.

The Maxi Cosi Tobi has
a number
of safety features, first off there is the side protection system
providing optimal protection against side impacts and a head hugger
providing further protection. The seat is fix rigidly into he car via
the belt tensioner to tighten the seat belt securely. It also includes
a ‘traffic light’ colour indicator, which ensures
your
child is secured correctly via the one pull 5 point harness.
The seat has 5 reclining positions for optimum comfort and the height
of the headrest and shoulder straps can be adjusted together to a total
of 7 positions. All of this can be done from the front, even whilst
your child is in the seat. The harness can be lengthened by one hand,
without the need to push a button.
The ease of use of the Maxi
Cosi Tobi
is one of the main reasons it’s such a popular car seat. The
harness belts and belt buckle no longer get in the way as a result of
the innovative easy out harness. This together with the easy to adjust
headrest and harness belts at the front of the seat, makes this a very
user friendly seat.
The seat cover is also washable and easy to remove.

Impression
The Maxi Cosi Tobi
is a bit
expensive, but you do get a number of innovative features including the
easy out harness system. If your car doesn’t have Isofix then
this car seat is one of the best available as it’s superb in
terms of child comfort, safety and ease of use. There is very little
else to say except that this is a very good car seat.
