The Graco Nautilus car seat
is a group 1,2 and 3 seat which makes it suitable for children of
approx 9 months through to 12 years of age (9-36Kg). When your child
has reached 3 to 4 years of age the seat can be converted to use the
vehicle own seat belt and as they continue to grow the back of
the seat can be removed to simply leave the booster cushion. The seat
it self is quite weighty at 8.8kg.
The Graco Nautilus car seat has
been extensively crash tested including side impact testing giving
peace of mind in the event of an accident. The seat frame itself is
fitted with reinforced steel to provide further protection and to
complete the safety aspects of the seat, it also includes EPS energy
absorbing foam for effective impact energy management.
For the added comfort of your child the Graco Nautilus car seat provides
3 recline positions so he or she can be positioned correctly if they
need a sleep or just want to sit up and look at the view. The seat
is very plush and offers a good level of comfort for its occupant
and the headrest can be easily adjusted allowing the seat to grow with
your child.
To ensure they are fastened safety and comfortably into the seat there
are open loop belt guides to make sure the belt is correctly position.
The seat comes with a cup holder and storage pockets which are very
useful particularly for longer journeys. The seat cover can be removed
and is washable

Overall Impression
The Graco Nautilus car seat is
an excellent value for money option especially if you are in the
process of buying a group 1 car seat. Whilst the seats recline
isn’t as good as some seats which are specifically aimed at the
group 1 market it does provide the longevity of use. As with many Graco car seats
it is both comfy and comes with some very good safety features.
Overall a good car seat which should provide many years of use.
