Silver Cross Prams
have been around since 1877 and during this period they have provided
some the finest prams for children from one generation to the next.
Today Silver Cross are still making prams of uncompromising quality,
practical designs and to high safety standards.
The three Silver Cross
Prams we are going to take a look at here are the
•
3D Pram System
• The Linear Freeway Pushchair
• The Sleepover
Silver
Cross 3D Pram System
This lightweight framed pram weighing just 10.3kg is rear facing
allowing you to keep eye contact and offers the perfect lie-flat
position for your baby. For the babies added comfort and safety there
is a cushioned head support and the design-registered liner helps to
cushion your baby inside. With a few clicks the pram can be transformed
into a pushchair that reclines flat allowing your baby to take a nap.
For manoeuvrability the pram comes with swivel, self-centring and if
required lockable wheels.
Silver
Cross Linear Freeway Pushchair
This pushchair is the lightest of all the Silver Cross Prams at just
6.6kg and is very flexible. It is suitable from birth to toddlers as
it’s a convenient and protective pram which can become a
reversible pushchair. The comfort levels within the pram are maintained
with a padded body for added protection in the first few weeks and
months. For manoeuvrability the pram comes with lockable swivel wheels
and can be left self standing when folded.
The
Sleepover
This classic of the Silver
Cross Prams range, offers you everything you could ever
want from a pram, an overnight carrycot, protective pram and a fully
reversible pushchair. During the day the carrycot fits onto the chassis
with a simple four point locking system. Then at night the carrycot can
be removed, housed on a suitable stand and used as a mosses basket. The
carrycot contains a mattress with built in air ventilation allowing air
to circulate freely keeping your baby safe and snug. As the baby grows
the carrycot can then be converted into a reversible pushchair.
Other features that come with the sleepover include an easy fold
chassis with an auto lock, a four way suspension, large multi terrain
wheels, a large shopping tray and a step on and off brake.
If you are looking to purchase a sleepover you have a choice of two
chassis, The Classic gives you the extra large spoke wheels and is
particularly useful if you need to travel across rough ground, whereas
the Linear is lighter and compact and more suited to urban life.
As you can see there are some excellent choices provided within the
current Silver Cross
Prams range
